LECTURER AT PRESTIGIOUS UNIVERSITIES

HYTAC Elective ETHZ

This elective course for 25 students is part of a master's program at ETH Zurich that focuses on the use of photogrammetry for architectural planning. The hands-on exercise begins with a field trip where students learn to create a 3D model of a city from images taken by a drone and processed with special software. This model is then 3D printed and used as the basis for the students' project proposals.

HYTAC Context ETHZ

This is definitely one of the most impressive experiences of my teaching career so far. HYTAC Context is a course that takes very seriously the importance of understanding the urban context for creating good architecture. In this opportunity, we chose a section of El Poblenou, a neighborhood in Barcelona, Spain.

HYTAC Basics ETHZ

This is the first approach to architectural design technologies taught to first-year architecture students at ETH Zurich. Many other architecture schools start with hand drawing and slowly move on to 2D CAD software, often leaving BIM aside, not to mention 3D printing.

"The students [at ETH Zürich] love the opportunity that they can 3D print at the university, especially because it’s a way in which they can express their ideas much faster than just with a cardboard model.
